Is someone Wrong On The Internet? maybe. but a lot of that is coming from the fact that shit is real rough right now and everyone is hypervigilant and no one is sleeping, and I think if we try to see that in each other we can avoid a lot of friendly fire right now

So you might ask - how will we know when things have changed? For me it’s all the kids back in school.

Besides, he added, Minnesotans are stubborn as hell.

“This is like a very black-and-white issue to me. This is either justice and righteousness, or this is the opposite. You are on one side or the other,” said Nate. “We aren’t going away.”
NEW: The Trump admin certainly put on a show last week about changing tactics in Minnesota after ICE agents killed Alex Pretti, a 37-year-old VA nurse.

Trump even suggested it's time for "a softer touch."

Except residents say nothing has changed. At all. www.huffpost.com/entry/ice-mi...

Two weeks after Alex Pretti’s killing, federal agents have shown no signs of backing down. The resistance definitely hasn't.

What's happened in the 2 weeks since Pretti's murder?

"We had 2 abductions in my area on Monday + 2 more today,” Nate, a Minneapolis real estate agent, told me Thursday.

“They drew guns on observers in South [Minneapolis] yesterday + were jumping out of cars today about a mile and a half from us.”

Before the charity stream began, content creators from @minnmax.com and @giantbomb.bsky.social weren't sure what number to aim for — maybe $30,000 or $50,000.

Within 15 minutes, they raised $58,000 for local food pantry VEAP. Within an hour, $100,000.

This is how 99% of bullshit charges go, which is important to remember: felonies sound scary and they won’t stick. They know this too. They’re trying to get people to plead guilty to lesser charges, which they don’t have enough guys to fight at trial. If they do go to trial they won’t stick either

This is one reason why i have stopped caring about CM Vetaw not doing jack shit. This is what folks are waking up to when our "business leaders" staying silent.

We are realizing we don't need them to get shit done in our community. Get on board or get out of the way.

YES. Observers have spent too much time worrying about anonymity and secrecy in an effort to avoid after-the-fact consequences. But those consequences are extremely unlikely - first, you’re doing nothing illegal, and second, they literally don’t have the legal manpower to prosecute almost anyone.
This is why the are already dropping the felony charges against the 22 folks arrested last week. They don't have the goods and no one to do the work to prosecute.
