That will definitely happen, Tim! They won’t stab you in the back and get re-elected anyway when they somehow successfully pin it on democrats
This, from Tim Kaine is HILARIOUS:

Call @smith.senate.gov too. Encourage her not only not to back down, but to lean on Klobuchar not to, and to work the caucus. NO SURRENDER on the ACA. (202) 224-5641
Just left a voicemail for Sen. Klobuchar. Call her if you’re a Minnesotan, tell her to stay strong. 202-224-3244

Moderate Democrats saw that voters were energized and might expect something from them, so they needed to put a stop to that ASAP

Dems backed Trump into a corner where he’s advocating for starving Americans and hemorrhaging support. If they vote to let him off the hook in exchange for nothing it’s a cataclysmic failure. I know people are in pain but insulating Republicans from political consequences is not the answer.

I called them both, too. I told them not to vote for anything that doesn’t extend ACA subsidies and that they shouldn’t trust anything the administration or GOP says ever.
Called my senators, would strongly encourage folks to do the same—quickly.

The core problem is Democrats want the government to function and Republicans want it to cease existing

Let's also call it what it is... they know what they are supporting is deeply unpopular and evil, which says more about them than anything and living on military bases keeps them from being publicly protested because they are snowflakes.
“More and more cabinet members — Rubio, Miller, Noem — live on military bases now, & it's another parallel to Iraq, where the administration lived in the Green Zone. There’s something deeply unhealthy about a society where leaders are literally shut off from the communities that they govern.”
Don Moynihan on "Purge, Merge, and Surge"
"Instead of surging in Iraq, it’s happening here in American cities."

800+ flights cancelled today because Elon took a chainsaw to the federal government and Trump won’t pay the remaining airport personnel.

Elon’s on his way to becoming a trillionaire.

Trump’s net worth has more than doubled inside a year.

Glad everything worked out for them.

How about you?

To put this in scale, Elon Musk's salary from Tesla alone could fund the SNAP program for the entire country into 2034.
