Minneapolis did burn down and is super dangerous with the criming. Stay in your suburbs and do not come here. Also, you do not want to have to contend with all the bike lanes.
There are people who still think the cities of Minneapolis and Portland got reduced to ashes by BLM.

Anne Frank was never a Dutch citizen and Nazis quite literally and famously stripped her and her family of their birthrite German citizenship. I can't believe we have to argue facts with Bunghole-Sauron again.
It is literally false that the Jews being hunted by Nazis were citizens, because the first step toward genocide was stripping them of citizenship and making them stateless. As Arendt reminds us, citizenship is a legal category created to facilitate a machinery of exclusion of the out-group.

Minnesotans have a choice on February 3rd:

Do you want a senator who enabled Trump's cruel ICE chaos? Or a senator who has always stood up for safety for our immigrant neighbors?

To me, the answer is clear.

This is one reason why the concepts of jurisdiction and venue exist.
Excellent explanation of how ICE moves immigrants from one prison facility to another to deny them access to justice.

Who also regularly appears intoxicated in interviews
Trump is swapping pint-size fascist Greg Bovino for Tom Homan. You may remember Homan as the "border czar" who was caught taking $50,000 in cash from undercover FBI agents. He also said immigrants should be looking "over their shoulder" and that the mayors of sanctuary cities should be locked up.

Maybe don’t do a “job” you won’t do without your name on it
BREAKING: ICE officials are reportedly worried that, if Congress requires ICE agents to unmask and wear identification, 75% of the agents will quit rather than be ostracised for the rest of their lives by family, friends, employers, and society...

People have already been patrolling on bikes.
Honestly the longer ICE stays here the more advantage we gain. They have to be gone by spring. If the bike whackos get a shot at patrol it’s OVER.

Trump’s demands of Minnesota and Minneapolis - still blaming Dem leadership in the state for the chaos and death his regime has caused. Doesn’t sound promising.

5ish years ago a staff member from The Kid’s preschool got arrested protesting the murder of George Floyd. Parents were proud.
I forgot he said this. Now that he’s here, he’s about to learn some things about our employers, neighborhoods and schools.
TOM HOMAN: “We’re going to create a database where those people that are arrested for interference, impeding and assault, we’re going to make them famous. We’re going to put their face on TV. We’re going to let their employers, in their neighborhoods, in their schools, know who these people are.”

This honestly looks like what reasonable, well intentioned *Republicans* would put forward as a solid initial offer in negotiations with Democrats. And in an almost unprecedented times like these I’d then expect Dems to fight for FAR more.

Abolish ICE. Reallocate funding. Prosecute.
Dems coalescing around 5 restrictions on ICE, I'm told:

DHS required to cooperate with state probes (big)
CBP stays at border
warrants for arrests
IDs, bodycams
ICE out of churches, schools

"That package unites a lot of Dems," Sen Chris Murphy tells me on the pod:
