Minneapolis did burn down and is super dangerous with the criming. Stay in your suburbs and do not come here. Also, you do not want to have to contend with all the bike lanes.
There are people who still think the cities of Minneapolis and Portland got reduced to ashes by BLM.
That’s my current plan
Uncommitted is an option at caucus night when asked for governor preference. Spread the word

ICE OUT (like, fully — as in abolish that shit)
Shit the government down.

ICE OUT
The massive government funding package just failed badly in the Senate, 45-55.

Needed 60.

Zero Democrats voted for it.

SEVEN Republicans opposed it:

Budd
Johnson
Lee
Paul
Moody
Rick Scott
Tuberville

(John Thune switched his vote to no for procedural reasons.)

My partner was saying that the word fuck has become the central term of struggle in the Twin Cities.

May "shit the government down" become a national rallying cry.

I am hearing that RFK Jr.’s minions are going to go after HPV vaccines. I’ve got problems with these people and now you’re going to hear about them, first from a personal perspective and then from a professional one.

It all boils down to this: WE HAVE A SAFE VACCINE THAT PREVENTS CANCER.

Are people getting that this is the stuff that history writes about as atrocities?
A legal asylum-seeker who works at Chipotle and plays music at a church in Maine went missing. His pastor searched and searched, eventually finding his abandoned car with the keys on the floor.

ICE grabbed him. No criminal record. No explanation.

My kingdom for a plate of garlic habanero wings.
Traditionally in the theater of war the biggest risk is getting heckled in Hooters.
Q: Can you be specific about how many ICE and CBP agents are currently operating in the state?

HOMAN: 3,000. There's been some rotations. They've been in theater a long time. Day after day, can't eat in restaurants, people spin on you, blowing whistles at you. But my main focus now is draw down

Hot take time: throwing money at the various pandemic problems was the right thing to do even at the cost of material fraud and it worked better than we could have reasonably expected

I mean, I know plenty of people have already pointed this out, but it needs to be hammered home that this is how fascism works. It demands you accept lies as truth, even when we’ve all seen who has actually been demanding violence (Trump and his goons).

Years ago I read a biography of Kim Philby. IIRC he had a photo of Mt Ararat on the wall that a visitor found strange, later realizing it showed the mountain from the Armenian side: most westerners wld only know the Turkish side. Some think photo was a tell & that Philby took Ararat route to Russia

Yes, hateful rhetoric, like Renée Good’s incendiary last words to the man who shot her multiple times: “That’s fine, dude. I’m not mad at you.” Truly, this hateful rhetoric must stop

This is sort of a throughline in cases of excessive force used by law enforcement. The civilian is supposed to perfectly adhere to some unwritten code of conduct; the armed professional supposedly trained for such situations is only human & must be given lattitude if they succumb to fear and rage.
The administration is insisting that its masked goons are so emotionally stunted that words can launch them into a murderous rage.

Seriously, what are we gaining by imprisoning small children?
There is ZERO reason to imprison ANY child.

We have to stop giving our government the authority and money to injure our children.

Abolish the child immigration prison system.

Let children be free.

I hate to bring it back to landlords, but they are pushing very hard behind the scenes to ensure it doesn't happen.
Can someone describe to me why @governorwalz.mn.gov hasn't declared a peacetime emergency in order to, among other things, allow for an eviction moratorium?

That's not rhetorical - I legitimately can't imagine the good-faith argument against doing this, especially given his other statements.
