There are people who still think the cities of Minneapolis and Portland got reduced to ashes by BLM.
Minneapolis did burn down and is super dangerous with the criming. Stay in your suburbs and do not come here. Also, you do not want to have to contend with all the bike lanes.
Seriously, what are we gaining by imprisoning small children?
There is ZERO reason to imprison ANY child.
We have to stop giving our government the authority and money to injure our children.

i just want to cry. i have literally just spent the last 6 hours responding to email after email of people begging for rent money or for me to point them in the direction of help, which does not exist.

I hate to bring it back to landlords, but they are pushing very hard behind the scenes to ensure it doesn't happen.
Can someone describe to me why @governorwalz.mn.gov hasn't declared a peacetime emergency in order to, among other things, allow for an eviction moratorium?
That's not rhetorical - I legitimately can't imagine the good-faith argument against doing this, especially given his other statements.

Anne Frank was never a Dutch citizen and Nazis quite literally and famously stripped her and her family of their birthrite German citizenship. I can't believe we have to argue facts with Bunghole-Sauron again.
It is literally false that the Jews being hunted by Nazis were citizens, because the first step toward genocide was stripping them of citizenship and making them stateless. As Arendt reminds us, citizenship is a legal category created to facilitate a machinery of exclusion of the out-group.

5ish years ago a staff member from The Kid’s preschool got arrested protesting the murder of George Floyd. Parents were proud.
I forgot he said this. Now that he’s here, he’s about to learn some things about our employers, neighborhoods and schools.
