Ken rules at all this slidey sports stuff. The absolute best follow for the Winter Olympics. Cannot wait for Skeleton and all the Bobsledding.
Women’s skeleton kicks off tomorrow at 10:00 AM ET. Kim Meylemans and Nicole Silveira will be racing against each other for the first time as a married couple.

Chatted with @sickoscommittee.org last week about it!
A HOUSE DIVIDED - @thekenchilds.com told us about a married couple who is competing against EACH OTHER in the women’s skeleton.

Sooooooo we just recorded the first episode of this with @50plusdoner.bsky.social

We thank them for helping Commish try to find his Bundesliga team.
Going to make a free Patreon podcast series called the Bundesliga Bachelor and go through all the teams until I can decide who to support.

This comes up every Olympics. The IOC sorts the table by most golds, then silvers, the bronzes. US media companies tend to sort the table by total medals, then by golds, silvers, and bronzes.

We figured using points would be a nice middle ground.
Wait, what is the Olympic medal table scoring system?
February 13, 2026 at 1:40 AM
What if the Olympic Medal Table were more like a points table, with Gold = 3, Silver = 2, and Bronze = 1?

Here's what the table would look like after Day 6.

Day 6 of the Winter Olympics is over, and we've updated our 4th place Aluminum Medal Table!

Austria joins Italy and the US in the lead with 4 4th place finishes.

Love that @iamhectordiaz.com awarded @rodger.bsky.social some medals.

What events did Rodger win these medals in?
February 12, 2026 at 10:51 PM
We talked with @rodger.bsky.social about Philipp Raimund, the German ski jumper who is afraid of heights but won a gold medal anyway.

Some breaking news in the Vladyslav Heraskevych / IOC situation: Heraskevych has appealed to the Court of Arbitration for Sport to have him reinstated.

If reinstated, he would take two official runs tonight or tomorrow prior to the medal runs at around 7 PM CET

Germany stays perfect in the Team Relay, winning by .542 over Austria. Italy wins bronze, with Latvia and USA your top 5.

Wendl & Arlt are the most decorated luge athletes of all time. Dajana Eitberger gets her first gold medal with Lena Matschina
Max Langenhan pulls off just behind the start set by Jonas Müller but Germany has a big lead and he really just needs to do what he does. Clean slide, GER up by .5 at 3/4

Eitberger & Matchina just need to get down clean, they do, and Germany stays perfect in the Team Relay! AUT silver, ITA bronze
