I wrote section 230 to protect user speech, not a company's own speech. I've long said AI chatbot outputs are not protected by 230 and that it is not a close call. Given that the Trump administration is going to the mat to protect pedophiles, states should step in to hold Musk and X accountable.
I am not a Section 230 expert but being that Twitter is creating and publishing these photos I wonder if they actually have any civil legal protection? @kenwhite.bsky.social ? @akivamcohen.bsky.social ?
What X is allowing Grok to do is unlawful or regulatory-illegal in multiple jurisdictions, creates clear DSA violations, and continues despite regulator scrutiny. The images do not need to be pornographic, non-consensual sexualised or intimate depictions are enough.

Trump risked American lives to kidnap Maduro just to have him replaced by one of Maduro's authoritarian cronies. This has nothing to do with drugs or ousting an authoritarian leader. It's a clown car of incompetence in an effort to enrich oil companies.
January 5, 2026 at 5:25 PM
This is an illegal intervention in a country that poses no threat to the United States. Trump is trying to distract from the fact that he tanked our economy and kicked millions off their health care. Congressional Republicans need to rein Trump in before he gets American troops killed.
Trump says U.S. will 'run' Venezuela and sell seized oil in remarks on the strikes
President Trump says the United States conducted a strike in Venezuela and captured that country's president, Nicolás Maduro along with his wife, Cilia Flores.

The DOJ identified at least 10 co-conspirators who worked with Epstein and Maxwell. It’s obvious to anyone with two eyes that Epstein and Maxwell were engaged in organized crime, yet NO ONE ELSE involved in Epstein’s sex trafficking ring has faced criminal charges. Why?

The incompetence is funny right up until you remember they're covering up for pedophiles and sex traffickers
At least 16 files have disappeared from the DOJ webpage for documents related to Jeffrey Epstein
The Justice Department’s webpage for documents related to sex offender Jeffrey Epstein is missing at least 16 of its files a day after they were released.

I’m launching an investigation into the role of shipping companies in cartel-backed fuel smuggling. This is a multi-billion dollar industry for drug cartels and criminals. If companies operating in the U.S. are involved, they must be held accountable.

Some really stomach churning stuff in here. And to think the Republican health care "plan" is to give these guys a massive government subsidy.

Instead of addressing the real problems facing families, Republicans are inserting themselves between families and their doctors as they make the most personal and private decisions. I will never back down from fighting this sick and calculated attempt to erase trans Americans.
Under the proposed rule issued by the Trump Administration today, any Medicare- or Medicaid-participating hospital would be barred from providing gender-affirming care to *any child*, even if the care is not paid for by Medicare or Medicaid.

If you get your groceries anywhere other than Walmart, Trump and his cronies have ensured you're paying a higher price for your Lays, Gatorade, and Pepsi
1. For at least 10 years, Pepsi has conspired with Walmart to force up grocery prices. That’s the shocking evidence made public today in an unsealed FTC lawsuit. The suit was abandoned in May by the Trump FTC just before it was to be un-redacted. We went to court to get it unsealed & won.

There is blood on the hands of Donald Trump, RFK, and every Republican who has allowed this sham to go on for far too long. When kids die unnecessarily and once-eradicated diseases darken the doors of terrified families and pediatricians, Americans will know who is responsible.
