We were talking about upcoming federal tax changes to gambling at the CPA firm I worked at. In 2026 you will only be able to deduct 90% of losses instead of 100% resulting in taxable income. This is going to drive people to offshore sites.
PA lawmakers want to spike taxes on legal sports betting. That won’t protect people—it’ll push them to offshore sites with zero safeguards.
