My contribution to Super Bowl Sunday is this Jewish Aramaic incantation bowl with a demon on it. From Nippur, Mesopotamia, circa 6th-7th century CE.

Truly a super bowl.

What am I doing for the Super Bowl this year? You know. Eating decomposed foodstuffs, listening to ten different musicians named Brice, getting real mad about Puerto Rico again. American things.
RFK Jr on what he'll eat during the Super Bowl: "I am on a carnivore diet so I just eat meat and ferments, and I'm very happy with that. So I'm probably going to have yogurt."

"Little Nemo" creator Winsor McCay used to put on a Vaudeville act where he would live-draw a man and woman growing from birth to old age, finishing a full panel every 30 seconds. An LLM could do it faster, but who would pay?

Genuinely think that if I search hard enough, I could find evidence that the Super Bowl halftime show with George Burns and Mickey Rooney was too woke in 1987

In 2040, following his brief prison sentence, JD Vance will attempt a political comeback by writing an apologetic memoir about how he sadly tried to hold back Trump from inside the White House. It will be adapted into the top-rated series on TikTok.

Interesting!

Here's a guy I haven't thought about in some time. Fascinating story. There was a documentary a few years ago, which I've been meaning to track down.

For those too young to remember 1991, Diana is one of the worst cases of comics persecution in US history.
