Woke up at 4 am. Thinking back to when I was a teenager and what a huge drag this was. No internet, cable tv wasn't a thing yet. 5 broadcast channels, all of which went off the air at 1 am!
Can you believe we lived like this??

Well, that was a nasty bug. Two days of fever and a stabbing headache. Fever finally broke. Don't know where I picked it up. I've barely left the house during the week prior.

Little remembered comics history. When Ditko quit Marvel w/o warning, the artist who took over Doc Strange was Bill Everett, Golden Age great and creator of the Submariner!
His take was weird and & wonderful. It evokes Ditko, but Everett always looks uniquely Everett.
