As 2025 comes to a close, I’m proud that Maryland’s met a challenging year with resolve and emerged stronger.

While the White House may have made our work harder, we defined our future on our own terms.

We set ambitious goals – and exceeded them:

⬆️ Over 500 new employer partners added just this year,

Joseline Peña-Melnyk is a fighter who doesn’t just believe in the dignity of all Marylanders, but who actively channels that belief into action.

I have complete confidence that she will carry forward—and build on—Speaker Jones’ profound legacy of leadership, while also building a legacy of her own.
