Proud to say that this bundle contains the most toxic, self-sabotaging, and unwisely catty lesbians that @tpwrtrmnky.bsky.social and I could conceive of:

- all of RCBG, in one place
- Patreon-exclusive shenanigans
- And the preview of the upcoming novelization, thrown in for good measure :)
Welcome to Toxic Yuri November! That's not a thing, you say? Well, now it is. Our new bundle is just $15 for TWENTY-FOUR titles, all united by everyone's favorite theme: terrible, no-good, dangerous lesbians.

Great letter in the Herald. I can confirm the abuse feminists get from transphobes is worse and more threatening than what I get from anti-abortion men www.heraldscotland.com/opinion/2560...

Are you genuinely too thick to be aware of how many trans people's families misgender and dishonor us in death, or are you just vile and craven enough to pretend you don't know even when talking to queer people?
Do you not think it's bizarre to have strangers on the internet decide they know better than Brianna's own loved ones on what is or isn't insulting to her memory?

I've got no time for Rosie Duffield, but she turned up at a drop-in event in Parliament and that's been the limit of her involvement.

Very convenient to be able to shove the transphobia that got this girl killed under the carpet and blame phones instead and be able to deny any criticism like that

Maybe Esther doesn’t think its insulting, but its rubbing salt in the wound to the whole trans community

trans women have been dealing with 'major recession' levels of unemployment for years and now we're watching payment processors close off the sex work a lot of us rely on to make ends meet

they won't need to round us up for camps if we just starve I guess

This is why the social media ban is absolutely going to get queer kids killed, especially in rural areas.
In case cishet people don't realize: There aren't a lot of queer people around in most social settings, and we spend a lot of time finding each other, talking to each other, seeking each other out! Brianna herself was making online content for other queer kids!

We kind of need each other!

Sometimes what manifests as a parent's love is the tacit rejection of a child's queerness, even if in their heart of hearts they don't have any issue with queerness or queer people.

They still wish they could change us, thinking we can be removed from our queerness and still be us.

After coming out, I learned that while growing up my parents worried I was gay.

Thankfully not because they felt that was wrong, but they worried it would make me a bigger bullying target.

My mom (who refuses to use my name and pronouns) believes I'm trans at least because "Who would CHOOSE this?"
I have been trying to avoid this conclusion, as angry as this all makes me, but it's fucking undeniable at this point that in Esther Ghey's view the real tragedy of Brianna's life is that she was trans at all, which made her a target. Her advocacy smacks of railing against "social contagion".

In my opinion this tracks with how we (the adult society but particularly schools and parents) talk about bullying among kids, by primarily imagining the situation from the victims' perspective. We don't build policy around the bullies, they're supposed remote, alien, and unavoidable.
This is what kills me. If Esther Ghey wants to talk about the dangers of kids being online too much, she can talk about radicalization, about bigotry, about the dehumanizing ideas of trans people Brianna's killers were exposed to.

She doesn't, she talks exclusively about Brianna's social media use.
putting her phone in a pouch would have made her killers less transphobic and violent?

Cw: Esther Ghey shamelessly deadnaming her daughter, Brianna

Esther doesn't care, not about her daughter's cause of death, not that she died, that she was murdered, it's not about Brianna at all for her

What she cares about is banning phones and isolating children
She has a rationale for it as part of her book promo.

Bonus: she's friends with the mom of one the killers.
