this generation of game industry guys like Tim here have always fascinated me, because they may or may not have actually been artists at one point but they don't seem to have ever had much interest or curiosity towards art. their real primary function has been to be a sort of libertarian ideologue.

Speaking as someone who has helped run a business, is a programmer, went to journalism school, and isn’t a reactionary billionaire: Tim has a hard enough time forming rational opinions about the few things he does understand, and reviewing games isn’t one of them.

If the Dems blink after all of this, for a deal that all but ensures no ACA subsidies in 2026 anyway, then what was the purpose of letting the shutdown go for 40 days in the first place?

Sounds like the squishes in the senate caucus are ready to pull the plug with no ACA changes. This is real. If you want to register your opinion you shld call yr senator in the next hour. They not only want to reopen w/nothing. They want cover from their colleagues who still want to hold out.

Tactical Breach Wizards is incredible. Very tight, satisfying combat puzzle-y combat, not to mention great world building and *genuinely more wonderful, laugh-out-loud* writing than I would have expected, and I say that as someone who already knew Tom to be a fantastic, hilarious writer.
