Friends, we have some positive news tonight out of the Constitution, Bylaws, and Rules Committee re: the DFL Feminist Caucus.
The TL;DR of it is the entire feminist caucus leadership has to either undergo extensive training, or resign within 10 days.

These types of attacks coming from the highest levels of our government make the most vulnerable and marginalized among us targets of racial profiling and abuse by rogue and unaccountable federal agencies like ICE. (2/4)

We remain hopeful that this is a step in the right direction for the party, even if it is slower than we want. We continue to make the point that the time is now to take decisive action and will stress this until our point is heard.

To clarify: while we have not yet been approached by the state party to collaboratively address transphobia within the DFL, this is the first time in many years that a DFL Chair has publicly said they are willing to work with Stonewall.
