phrasing it as "no meaningful *management* experience" is so funny. they didn't use the word government specifically because they don't want to imply there's anything wrong with the billionaire to elected office pipeline
You guys realize that taxing people to pay for services isn't socialism, right? This is just how governments work.

The Founders were so concerned about bribery that the Constitution forbids it three separate times. Two emoluments clauses ban officials—unambiguously including the president—from accepting things of value, plus bribery is the only named impeachable offense besides treason.

Unprecedentedly corrupt.

For the first time ever, astronomers have unveiled the shape of a supernova explosion just a day after detection, as the blast was breaking through the star’s surface.

Achieved by our VLT, this feat will help us understand how massive stars die: https://www.eso.org/public/news/eso2520/

Also, the older I get, the more I realize it's *SO* important as adults to have space just to play.

This is how children learn, and how adult animals stay healthy. Humans seem to reject it

Play is how we stay curious, practice resilience, and reject performance, perfection, and expectation.
Having to focus on how movement looks, sounds, and feels is why enjoy martial arts. I could exercise on a treadmill, but I would 100% stay stuck in the anxiety in my head. With MA, I have to climb out of my head and focus on my body.

That's mindfulness.

Plus, it's practice punching Nazis.
This morning’s swordplay.

The joy of learning something new (and on your own) is permission to just focus on how something sounds and feels.

I’m a sensory person. I find the sound of wind, metal quite satisfying, and meditative in the morning. #jian #straightsword
