Trump lacks any kind of ethics or decency. To him this all makes perfect sense.
Donald Trump has not quite made being a Democrat or opposed to him illegal. But he has done everything short of that. Prosecuting Dems. Classifying groups that oppose him (Antifa) as terrorists. Deporting/blocking entry of people who criticize him. Keeping federal funds from Dem states & cities.
