SNAP serves children, elderly people, people with disabilities, veterans and working families. When Republicans talk about "cutting benefits," they need to say who they're choosing to go hungry.

The Trump admin is appealing a second time to SCOTUS to cut SNAP benefits for 42 million Americans.

He's already demanded some states take away the food assistance sent to families.

Trump will appeal to the highest court in the land before he lets hungry people eat.

Enough is enough. The Trump administration is playing with people’s lives and their ability to put food on the table. This isn’t a game. The administration needs to drop their appeal and allow states to fully fund SNAP benefits in November.

The administration should be ashamed. They are fighting to take away food from children, seniors and hardworking Americans. The court has ordered that the administration has both the power and the money to fully fund SNAP this month and has compelled them to do it.

Vance says it's absurd to feed 42 million hungry Americans.

Let that sink in: They're going to court to fight AGAINST feeding 42 million Americans.

Shame on them.

November 6, 2025 at 10:05 PM
The President has always had the power to fully fund SNAP benefits in November. Now he’s being ordered to do so by tomorrow.

It’s cruel and heartless to withhold food assistance from Americans in need.

BREAKING: New analysis shows Trump's USDA plan would withhold $1.65 billion in SNAP benefits from hungry Americans — IF he even bothers releasing it. He's turned hunger into his favorite political weapon while Americans can't afford groceries.

People are hungry right now. Today.

This administration and Trump have made the most heartless, lawless, choice to not follow the court order to distribute SNAP benefits.
November 5, 2025 at 8:39 PM
Today, we saw Trump carry out one of the most cruel and heartless acts we have ever seen.

Using food assistance as political leverage.
November 4, 2025 at 11:45 PM
The president is not a king. He is not free to disregard the rule of law whenever it becomes politically inconvenient for him. The Trump administration must comply with recent court orders to fund SNAP in November for millions of hungry seniors, children, veterans and the disabled.

Ranking Member Angie Craig Slams Trump's refusal to fully fund SNAP benefits for hungry Americans in November.
November 3, 2025 at 8:24 PM
Republicans cut $186 billion from SNAP in their "One Big Ugly Bill." Now they're illegally blocking November food assistance for 42 million Americans.

They keep saying they care about affordability at the grocery store, but their actions tell a very different story.
November 3, 2025 at 4:41 PM
Federal courts confirmed what we said from the start: the Trump administration was breaking the law when it suspended SNAP benefits for 42 million Americans. They have a $5 billion contingency fund and transfer authority.

They simply refused to use it to feed hungry families.
November 3, 2025 at 3:32 PM
Republicans claimed for weeks they couldn't touch the $5B contingency fund while swearing they cared about 42M hungry Americans. A judge just ordered them to use it for SNAP benefits. Where's the relief? Their response tells you what their real priority was—and it wasn't feeding struggling families.
November 2, 2025 at 11:56 PM
Ranking Member Craig: "As we’ve said from the start, the Trump administration was acting illegally. They have congressionally appropriated dollars to issue SNAP benefits in November and made the cruel decision to let Americans go hungry instead.

BREAKING NEWS: TRUMP ADMIN ACTED ILLEGALLY AND COURTS ORDER THEM TO USE SNAP CONTINGENCY FUND
October 31, 2025 at 7:12 PM
Speaker Johnson and Secretary Rollins claimed they're not magicians. Good thing they don't need a magic wand to tap the $5 billion SNAP contingency fund that Congress appropriated for them.

Refusing to send November benefits out the door isn't sleight of hand, it's illegal.
October 31, 2025 at 5:39 PM
The only honest thing Secretary Rollins said at the entire press conference. Republicans and the Trump admin have failed you.

The Trump administration is ignoring federal law to cut food benefits for 42 million Americans.

Legal experts call it unlawful. We call it choosing cruelty.
