Laura from Kansas is expecting her monthly premiums to increase by over $3,600 per year. We need to renew the ACA tax credits so that rural Americans don't have to choose between health care and putting food on the table.

Secretary of Agriculture Brooke Rollins was told by two courts she must distribute SNAP in November. Yet she still refuses to take any accountability for the chaos and harm the Trump admin caused 42 million Americans.

Shameful.

No matter how much Republicans try and ignore it, the ACA tax credit expirations will make monthly premiums skyrocket for millions of rural Americans.

SNAP serves children, elderly people, people with disabilities, veterans and working families. When Republicans talk about "cutting benefits," they need to say who they're choosing to go hungry.

Ranking Member Angie Craig slams Trump for continuing legal challenges to SNAP.
November 10, 2025 at 5:15 PM
Enough is enough. The Trump administration is playing with people’s lives and their ability to put food on the table. This isn’t a game. The administration needs to drop their appeal and allow states to fully fund SNAP benefits in November.

Vance says it's absurd to feed 42 million hungry Americans.
November 7, 2025 at 5:38 PM
The Trump administration is appealing a court order to fully fund SNAP benefits.

Let that sink in: They're going to court to fight AGAINST feeding 42 million Americans.

Shame on them.

Ranking Member Angie Craig statement on court ordering Trump administration to release full SNAP benefits in November:
November 6, 2025 at 10:05 PM
People are hungry right now. Today.

This administration and Trump have made the most heartless, lawless, choice to not follow the court order to distribute SNAP benefits.
November 5, 2025 at 8:39 PM
Today, we saw Trump carry out one of the most cruel and heartless acts we have ever seen.

Using food assistance as political leverage.
November 4, 2025 at 11:45 PM
The president is not a king. He is not free to disregard the rule of law whenever it becomes politically inconvenient for him. The Trump administration must comply with recent court orders to fund SNAP in November for millions of hungry seniors, children, veterans and the disabled.

BREAKING NEWS: Trump plans to ignore court orders and illegally withhold food assistance from 42 million Americans.
November 4, 2025 at 5:15 PM
A judge on Friday said Trump and Rollins could transfer additional money to fund SNAP for all of November if they choose.

They chose to cut November benefits instead, and it's shameful.

Ranking Member Angie Craig Slams Trump's refusal to fully fund SNAP benefits for hungry Americans in November.
November 3, 2025 at 8:24 PM
Speaker Johnson and Secretary Rollins claimed they're not magicians. Good thing they don't need a magic wand to tap the $5 billion SNAP contingency fund that Congress appropriated for them.

Refusing to send November benefits out the door isn't sleight of hand, it's illegal.
October 31, 2025 at 5:39 PM
The only honest thing Secretary Rollins said at the entire press conference. Republicans and the Trump admin have failed you.
October 31, 2025 at 3:51 PM
42 million Americans shouldn't go hungry because of Trump's political games.
October 30, 2025 at 6:27 PM
I'm outside USDA where no one's to be found. Meanwhile, Trump and Secretary Rollins have made the choice to break the law and not use already appropriated funds to ensure SNAP benefits go out in November.

They're making a deliberate choice to let American children and seniors go hungry.
October 29, 2025 at 1:39 PM
The Trump administration has the funds to ensure SNAP benefits go out in November. They're just in violation of the law choosing not to use them.

Secretary Rollins can write all the op-eds she wants, but the truth is simple: if she and Trump wanted to feed hungry families, they would.
October 28, 2025 at 9:04 PM
Republicans created the shutdown. Republicans control the SNAP reserve funds. Republicans have illegally decided not to use them, cutting food assistance to feed American seniors, veterans and families with children.

This isn’t complicated.
