You can’t help but think that the mountain of stress the US government piled on her did nothing but make her own recovery all the more challenging

I still remember going to Texas Tech and being told in my us history to 1877 class that the civil war was about states rights and then eventually transferring to a small college in Denver where a professor for a civil war class on day one was like “yeah the whole fucking thing was about slavery”

I know there are a lot of valid frameworks from which to examine why billionaires and their hangers-on are destroying everything and everyone, and obviously I’m biased here, but I think most of the reasons revolve around them being eugenicists first and foremost
I parsed through some of the emails in the Epstein files, and it’s very clear that Epstein was a eugenicist weirdo. Something he very much had in common with the billionaire class à la Elon Musk, Peter Thiel and Donald Trump. New for @motherjones.com.
