Stop listening to people who can only tell you what “will never work”, and the only suggestions they have maintain the status quo in a different flavor. A new world is possible. It will not just require us to vote, protest, campaign, fundraise, and fight, it will require rediscovering imagination.

Thank you @winterjessica.bsky.social for nailing the “crisis of masculinity” BS & the ways in which centrist liberal writers ignore economic realities & women’s continued subjugation & softly repackage the brutal misogyny of the right. An instant classic in gender studies written w delicious irony

I have to be careful and not blame all Dem Senators for the cloture vote on Sunday. It wasn’t a majority of the Dems. It was quite a few who aren’t up for reelection. So I don’t even know what they were thinking.
I will continue to support Dems - except for my Senator Fetterman who can rot in hell.

Identifying flaws in GenAI unfortunately offers a pretext for claims that perfecting the product is just a matter of time & money. So pointing to chatbots’ role in,say, suicides can only go so far if we don’t also identify the systemic, irresolvable lack of Gen AI’s human commitment bc math has none
