I'm specifically holding off on replacing my (old, loved, but knackered) 2006 Mazda 3 until after I've moved house because my only option is too wide to comfortably get in the drive here. It's a small change - about 15cm wider - but it's enough to be a problem, for a car that's in the same class.

The danger here is that I have a 3d printer. I am not putting up a tree for myself this year for reasons, but I will be visiting several other trees over the next month...

Unrelated to the content, is there a name for this type of speech photo, specifically using the microphones as a visual prop? I remember seeing one of Nigel Lawson as chancellor which gave him a fantastic clown's nose. It seems to be a tradition but it's not one that I've ever seen commented on.

It's a very odd combination of feelings, wandering around the house and seeing things I've wanted to fix and thinking "Someone else's problem now." Countdown to the move hasn't formally started but it already feels less like my home.
