Well, this is quite a serious allegation. I do hope the BBC shows true impartiality and investigate whether or not some of its Board members are systemically biased. www.theguardian.com/media/2025/n...

Flea market find. You don't often stumble across 1950s copies of Peanuts books, even less so in rural Switzerland.

I feel like we have the opportunity to turn David Lynch's quote into this moment's "Keep Calm and Carry On" and it's a far better rallying cry too.

I'm not saying I watched #TheTraitors, but from now on I will have to question the credibility of anything David Olusoga says about anything.
I mean, statistically, his reasoning was wrong 182% of the time.
David Olusoga: "When WW2 ended in 1945..."
Me: "Really? Gonna have to fact-check that now"

Classic #ADHD day:
- Sit down to write next book chapter.
- Get distracted by something entirely unconnected:
- Namely, researching an ancestor in the 1500s.
- Stumble across a mystery of potentially international importance.
- Realise there may be a book in it.
Result: 2 unfinished books.

2025: Blue tick applied to my Bluesky account.
2028?: Blue tick removed again by new billionaire owner of Bluesky, who renames the company BS-X in a bid to disseminate far-right disinformation and conspiracy theories that only someone with the intellect of a 6 year old would give any credence to.

Swiss wildlife is ludicrously robust. It's November, I live 500m above sea-level, it's -1 outside, and I've woken up early to find I've been eaten alive by mosquitos. Or, judging by the size of the bites, pterodactyls.

Font-wise, they're really going for that '1970s greetings card for grandma' vibe.
Maybe they're naming the rooms because, just like poor old grandma, the president's memory isn't what it used to be and he gets easily confused.
