I think the ICE agents work hard and deserve a nice little Kavanaugh Snack, as a treat
ICE detain father shopping on Christmas Eve—then steal his family's groceries.

Then 3 agents divvy up his paid for food—taking what they want for themselves.

"Can I just get the wife's number to call and let her know?" woman asks.

"No, guess he should've complied," agent says.

CBS has cancelled a story about the Christmas Nigeria bombings because Bari Weiss complained it implied that Nigerians are human beings without seeking an alternative perspective from Steven Miller.

Truthfully, THE TALISMAN has a deeply flawed structure that makes the book a bit of a slog, and that will surely sink an adaptation.

Better to adapt BLACK HOUSE, its superior sequel, as a miniseries and reserve THE TALISMAN for prolonged flashbacks.
Stranger Things Creators Confirm Their Stephen King Adaptation Is Dead at Netflix
The creators were first attached to the project in 2022, years before the Stranger Things finale.

What happens to all these ICE agents when their names, addresses, and ss#s get released?

Mara Mills, “assistive pretext”!!
I'm sure someone has written more intelligently about this, but it's striking how tech companies use disability as a benevolent rationale for their work. For ex., Neuralink's website describes helping paraplegics as the company's main goal. Meanwhile, Musk is ranting about creating cyborgs.

Yes, CECOT is a concentration camp in the guise of a prison. The Venezuelans were the first people to *ever* be released from CECOT since Bukele opened the prison in January 2023. Seriously. The first.
These are concentration camps. No other way to describe them. Truly horrific, and none of it surprising in the least.
30 minutes. Some deportees described sexual assault. Detainee describes the guard sexually assaulting most detainees. Lights left on all day. Prisoners not given clean water.

Now the DHS tour. Nobody spoke to the detainees. Noem's video was in a different area of the prison.

This is all incredible bullshit from a serial liar. You force people to go on the record not by spiking the story but by running it.
Bari Weiss this morning on the 60 Minutes segment: "We need to be able to get the principals on the record and on camera."

Of course, most journalists know that oftentimes people who are the subject of negative reporting don't want to speak on camera or on the record.

Multiple photos from different photographers all taken within the same 30 seconds. The poses, outfits, backgrounds are all the same.

I don't think the premise is false at all. I just think MT used the wrong language.
These are quite clearly not the same photo. Clinton's face is partially obscured by Jackson's in the one from the Epstein archive.

20K reposts for this, but the premise is false, and I suspect the conclusion is as well.
The White House has been caught.

The administration inserted a photo of Bill Clinton, Michael Jackson, and Diana Ross into the Epstein files and falsely implied it showed them with victims.

In reality, it’s a publicly available fundraiser photo featuring Jackson and Ross’s own children.
