New case revision. Less bulky thanks to giving the batteries (recycled vape li-ions) some horizontal room, and tweaking the tenting angle. Starting to look the part now.

Who wore it better?

Vimes the cat is lying down and investigating the underside of a lamp with one paw, looking into the camera as if to say "Nice lamp. Shame if something were to happen to it." Vimes the cat gives his Blue Steel look. Vimes the cat looking disgruntled. He has just been very rudely denied his right to properly investigate the contents of a jar of jam, and none of the human breakfast was offered in compensation. None. Vimes the cat is helping. He is spinning a screwdriver on the table. A lot. This went on for several minutes.

Had some fun designing lamps this weekend while kittensitting.
A 42cm tall lamp consisting of three stacked cubes on a four-legged base. The lowest cube is lit. The lamp sits on a wooden chest of drawers which looks suspiciously tidy, in no way suggesting that the owner hurriedly cleared the surface so the photo could be taken. A lamp consisting of a single white cube resting on a black four-legged base, sitting on a surface which bears an uncanny resemblance to an IKEA Kallax. The lamp is designed such that the cube appears to be intersecting the base at an angle. A smaller version of the lamp in the first picture, this time in cream and brown rather than white and black. It is sitting on a hand-made wooden side-table. Vimes the cat inspects the lamp from the previous image. Vimes has not knocked over the lamp. Yet.
