AWS Control Tower supports automatic enrollment of accounts

AWS finally lets you drag-drop accounts between OUs without manual busywork. Only took them how many years? Also love that "auto-enrollment" requires toggling flags and API parameters. So automatic!

I’m very much liking the Gazetteer. Amusingly enough, I first learned about them from the side of a bus.
With Nancy Pelosi announcing her retirement, we look back on her remarkable, and at times contentious, career. She was a 1-of-1 politician. But she's also the exact opposite of the leader SF now needs.

New commentary from @eddiekimx.bsky.social:

Goodbye to all of that
As we look back on Nancy Pelosi’s 1 of 1 career, we should also look forward to what we actually need next

Okay, cool, but right now every hyperscaler is looking at tens or hundreds of billions worth of “hole in their balance sheets” if OpenAI can’t pay for the ~$1.4 trillion they’ve committed to.

And those hyperscalers are, y’know. In everyone’s retirement accounts.
Sam Altman says OpenAI doesn't want government guarantees for data centers and expects to fund investments with revenues hitting "hundreds of billions by 2030" (Shirin Ghaffary/Bloomberg)
