There was an open mic thing at lunch with a piano and karaoke machine in the Pentagon food court for entertainment today however, I would suggest to the one performer that singing (despite singing very well) "Killing me softly" was probably not the best song to sing for a hundreds of staff officers.

This is a great article. While the PLA is extremely capable, the invasion of Taiwan would be the most difficult landing operation ever attempted. There has never been an amphibious landing in the face of CDCMs. For comparison, Taiwan has hundreds of missiles and the PLAN as eight LPDs.
