Going to this play was so affirming! I ran into irl friend @wmd505.bsky.social, and we got to meet the writer and performer of BIG, FAT MESS, Jen Stephenson, afterward and tell her how good it felt to find another person who “gets it.” it was educational, while still being entertaining.

As a Dodgers fan, I literally feel like Sarah Connor at the end of the first Terminator. That’s how good the Blue Jays were.
Like we won but I’m so traumatized I’m going to lose custody of my son because I trained him to shoot weapons in Nicaragua and I’ll end up in a max cell at Pescadero

You know what a lot of it is? The dodgers have shockingly few bandwagon fans. By any metric this team should be loaded with fuckwit fans from Columbus OH or Charlotte NC who only root for them because they want to root for a winner. And yet…they don’t, really? It’s weird!
I genuinely wish I didn’t like so many of you who are dodger fans SO MUCH, it’s making it really hard to be that mad about this because at least you’re happy. You assholes.
