Remember when we used to condemn governments that would do this to their people?
What in the Gestapo is going on in Grand Rapids?

Watch this activist get arrested *mid-interview* for speaking out against U.S. action in Venezuela.

1.2 MW charging is great...

But exactly what is going to power all these chargers?

To be useful to long-haul trucking, the charging stations will need to be far out in the sticks. To be practical, you'd need 20-30 stations.

24-36MW isn't easy to provide off-grid.

I've stayed offline (mostly) and non-political for the past week or so because of Christmas and New Year's.

That bit of calm is over now.

Happy New Year! 😇

Thread for the season.
King Herod THOUGHT he was right.

He THOUGHT that protecting his own power was to protect his kingdom.

He THOUGHT the murder of children in Bethlehem was justified by the Magi's refusal to tell him the identity of the Christ child.

He thought a few lives were a small price to pay for greatness.

Imagine being a Republican running UNCONTESTED in a district that went for Trump by 25 points

... and still being in danger of losing.

The veneer is off. The emperor has no clothes.
Polls closed in SC at 7 PM ET. Results here: www.enr-scvotes.org/SC/125770/we...

Still *super* early, but in the uncontested #SD21 (around Trump+50), write-ins are currently getting 42% of the vote against Republican Lee Bright.

Huh.

God isn't impressed by power; He chooses vulnerability and the margins. As Ignatius taught, we find Him in "all things"—even the messy, daily routines of life.
