All these comparisons to WW2 make it clear that Americans believed the propaganda and haven't accepted that their grandfathers weren't "fighting fascism" so much as pushing back Germans who'd taken over most of central Europe, & mostly to protect their British-American form of white supremacy.

Yes. We insisted on using Ms. because we believed our maritial status was irrelevant, deeply confusing the male bosses regarding who it was ok to flirt with. Those men have never forgiven us.
