Republicans actively want people to pay more for healthcare or get sick and die. And they gaslight you on how much your costs will increase. They're fine with every insurance company denying your claims and the entire cluster fuck that is the industry, yet never suffer a bit because of it.
President Trump tells reporters that he doesn’t want to extend expiring subsidies under Obamacare, also known as the Affordable Care Act, delivering a major blow to prospects of averting sharp premium hikes next year.
Trump says he would 'rather not' extend Obamacare tax credits 'at all'
The president said he prefers to let the Affordable Care Act subsidies expire on schedule at the end of December, saying that if anything, he wants the money to go to "the people directly."

Why would they need that when they didn’t at the beginning of the term?

The extent to which literally everyone in this administration is a fucking moron with no idea what they’re doing is, I would say, unprecedented. In Trump 1 you at least had a couple vain, amoral careerists. Now I think I would personally be able to do a better job than any given cabinet appointee

No bailouts. The US should extort these companies when the crash happens so they get minimal compensation in return for nationalizing the entire panopticon industry and then destroying it once harvested for socially useful parts. It won’t happen but it should

Trump has literally never solved anything
Bessent on CNBC re: White House health care plans: "I'm not involved in the conversation. I know President Trump wants working Americans to keep more of their money, cut out the insurance companies, and we'll see. He's the president of solutions, and I'm sure that we will have a solution to this."

A mayoral candidate is repeatedly asked to condemn Hamas and denounce anti-Semitism simply because he's Muslim.

A sitting president who promotes white nationalism, employs gutter racists and dines with literal Nazis is given a free pass.
A mayoral candidate saying maybe the city should cover the cost of bus rides gets the full socialism panic treatment before he even tries it.

A sitting president taking billions of dollars worth of shares in private companies gets “I must say, a tad unusual” after it’s been going for nearly a year.

It wasn't even that long ago when it was doing great work! Then the ads people freaked out because search volume was down (a sign the search was working!) and rather than charge more for ads, they made their OG product as shitty as possible. Then bolted even worse AI crap on top of it.

Wow — Senators Van Hollen, Smith, Murphy, Sanders, Warren, Markey, Merkley, Heinrich have created an official internal "Fight Club."

They're challenging Schumer & Gillibrand's leadership, arguing the party is using an old, corporate-friendly playbook insufficient to take on Trump or win elections.

Gender-affirming care saves lives
1. A landmark study was just published in The Journal of Pediatrics.

It found a 68% reduction in suicidality for trans youth getting HRT.

It also found only 7 of more than 400 stopped taking HRT... and of those that did, 4 still identified as gender-diverse.

Transgender care saves lives.
Study In The Journal Of Pediatrics Finds Trans Youth Care Lowers Suicidality, Few Detransition
The groundbreaking study found that suicidality dropped for transgender youth receiving hormone therapy by nearly 70%, with only 7 patients of 432 discontinuing treatment.

When you draw a platoon leader like Hegseth, it’s your worst nightmare. You just ride it out until he’s gone and gets replaced by someone who isn’t a complete jackass. Only a fool like Trump would put one of them in charge of the entire defense department.
