I was the guest who "flat out" last night on MSNBC said this has to be the end of Chuck Schumer as Democratic leader of the Senate. We were on live when news of the deal broke and how Schumer barely was part of the talks and he could not hold the Democrats together.

Why would eight Senate Democrats surrender just after Democrats had a big win on Tuesday?! You would think that would embolden them to stand strong. They knew this would anger Democratic voters--and even cause some to check out. We have to assume these Dems wanted Dem base to check out.

As I just said on msnbc: this deal is the end of chuck Schumer. It doesn’t matter he is voting no. He’s not the leader we need at this time.

If I were @schumer.senate.gov, I would not agree to help Republicans fund this regime on the "promise" of an ACA vote at a later date. It didn't work the last time when they promised to fund DC. It won't work this time either. The House won't touch it.
