Democratic fortunes in November don't rely on the "enthusiasm" of its voter base. The Dem voter base is not enthusiastic. The Dem voter base is full of rage. They're looking for someone to match that rage, to channel it. But even if they don't get that, they'll crawl over glass to kick MAGA out.

I think about this line a lot but I truly believe no actor could have delivered “she’s not asking for god’s help, she’s asking for mine” the way it was meant to be except for Clint Eastwood. He was made for that.

I am of the opinion that this period was actually still very good. It would be sadly not that many months after this aired that the show fell off a gigantic cliff quality wise

If you just write, to teach in a good but completely nonpartisan history course in a public high school , what trump did and does, and just teach that, you will a thousand percent get a bunch of phone calls about parents yelling about you for being CRT DEI or w/e. Impossible to do in a real way

I do sympathize with people trying to teach history and current events in high schools who are instructed to do it in nonpartisan ways because mother fucker, how do u do that with trump, it will only be possible with the passage of time
