My friend because I said the storm wasn’t surfable 😆

Being MAGA must be so exhausting. You can’t watch the Super Bowl half time show because despite tons of non-Americans having performed, Fox News has told you the Spanish-speaking American dude isn’t American enough. So instead you have to tune into TPUSA and pretend to like Kid Rock 😆

When the state sponsored threat actor has vibe coded their entire control server, all the login code is client-side, and they’ve infected themselves with their own malware.

You know it’s bad when corporate media puts “racist” in the headline instead of “potentially containing material some may claim to have identity-based connotations of a historical context”.

Friends and I stumbled across this random wave that breaks on an outer reef about 1/4 mile offshore. We paddle out to surf it, then later discovered it’s actually a semi-famous tow surfing spot after a bunch of jet skis showed up.

It’s wild how many surfers there are out today

Nature doesn’t like my cybersecurity content 🥲

I can’t believe we’re doing this again. It’s just a bot that generates the text you ask it for. If you put it in charge of critical decisions, it will kill people. Not because it’s secretly evil, but because it’s a word generator. It’s like putting your toaster in charge of air traffic control.

I’m renting a place on the North Shore for a bit because I want to surf between meetings. The owner wants to get rid of it so badly he offered to sell it to me and handle all the financing, but the problem is the mortgage is $24k/month 😭

I think the company that made my mosquito repellent might have forgotten to inform the mosquitoes. Either that or I accidentally bought mosquito propellant.

Bluesky is just a highly concentrated version of Twitter politics. On Twitter, once you obtain a certain level of visibility, you attract hordes of people who genuinely can’t differentiate between “I find this person annoying” and “this person is my political nemesis and must by crushed at any cost”
Again Will is a left wing civil rights lawyer whose worst sin is stubbornness and whose greatest virtue is also stubbornness. That he has been transformed into a demon in the minds of losers is evidence of how pathetically inadequate their vision of actual wickedness is.
the image of will stancil these people have built in their heads (grand wizard of the mega klan) is at odds with any time I've seen him post (dweeby, harmless)

Dying at the fact we went surfing at night with the moonlight being the only light source, and still weren’t the only people out. See how many surfers you can find (everyone is roughly on the same horizontal line as the top of the red buoy).

Stumbled across some random reef break like 400 yards offshore with nobody surfing it. Couldn’t find a name, but did see a couple of people surf it, so it was definitely surfable. Convinced my friends to paddle out on longboards because it looks kinda chunky, but none of us actually longboard. 😆

The video from the latest Kilauea eruption is very relatable. I don’t think there’s a better metaphor for everything than standing on top of an erupting volcano using an umbrella as a shield from falling lava rocks

I kept forgetting to leave enough money in my checking account to pay my credit cards because I'm a dumb ass, so Amex responded by setting my credit limit to $4k. I definitely won't be paying for other people's dinners, but if anyone wants a KitKat from the corner store, it's on me 💀

I suspect there's a lot to be learned from the decline of the British Empire here. As time went on, colonialism became less and less profitable. Private companies would extract all the wealth by pillaging resources, leaving the British government to foot the bill for occupation & administration.

Since the decline of peer-to-peer botnets it's been difficult to track malware infection externally. But smart contract based C2 infrastructure provided us with unique insights into this campaign.

My latest blog post investigating a malware campaign which infects victims by utilizing only legitimate infrastructure. The malicious activity spans hundreds of hacked websites, the BSC blockchain, and a popular CDN.

ClearFake gets more evasive with new living off the land (LOTL) techniques
ClearFake's latest campaign uses fake CAPTCHAs and social engineering trick victims into installing malware, and it's getting more evasive.

I have an EDM / Hardstyle playlist where Spotify will throw in random songs from the algorithm. It gave me this. I like the sampled lyrics, so decided to look up the original. It's a Christian worship song called "Thank You" by "Jesus Army" 💀

Just checking in on my investment portfolio, because apparently computers are appreciating assets now.

I tried to buy a new EDC knife online, but it wasn’t clear from the photo exactly how large it was going to be. It has a very nice look and feel to it, but I don’t think it’s going to be particularly concealable 😅

I've been researching some malware that uses Blockchain Smart Contracts as Command-and-Control infrastructure. Since blockchain data is public, I was able to write code to track how many new systems the malware infects each day. Blog post coming next week.
