I don't know if you need much evidence that Ackman has no principles but he led the charge to remove Claudine Gay from President of Harvard on *much* weaker evidence of academic misconduct. Then he threatened to pursue plagiarism accusations of anyone who pointed to his wife's alleged plagiarism.
Billionaire hedge fund manager Bill Ackman has revealed that he’s helping Francesca Gino, the honesty researcher who was fired from Harvard for research misconduct. “We will provide whatever resources she needs to clear her name,” he wrote.

Bill Ackman said on X that he’s been backing Francesca Gino, the embattled honesty researcher, in her lawsuit against Harvard since June 2024.

It's true but to me "the voters" are farther down on the responsibility scale. At the top are the elites who failed to understand the danger, the necessity for accountability, and kinda just hoped this would all go away. In a healthy political system he'd never be allowed to run again
The American people electing Trump after he staged a coup attempt 5 years ago was a nail in the coffin of our democracy. You can rationalize it all you want - But inflation! But wokeness! - but ultimately it was a societal suicide attempt and probably the dumbest collective voting decision ever made

I’m dumber for having read this ahistorical idiocy
It's not simply that this CY guy is so openly bigoted.

It's the instantly recognizable Dunning-Kruger super-confidence of the barroom-savant who's telling you how everything "really" works.
Curtis Yarvin has written a very long screed in defense of his post in which he said, “Hitler spoke the truth.”

A sampling of select portions is below and includes, in reference to Jewish people, the words:

“The only way to tell is the name and the nose.”

The land of free speech, where disrespecting the Dear Leader’s image gets your pass revoked.
Department of Interior says if you put a sticker over Trump's face on your national park entrance pass, the pass will be invalidated.
Meanwhile Trump's decision to put his face on the passes is being challenged in court
DOI cracks down on stickers covering Trump's face on national park passes

The coup plotters went all-in on their 1776 moment assuming failure meant life in prison.

Little did they know they’d get a mulligan and just needed billionaires and the media to use propaganda to reseize power.
