Apparently cooking for yourself is as impossible to the elites as not fucking kids.

Who knew? I apparently have incredible willpower!

There's a weird amount of Newsom glazing that comes from people who are unfamiliar with California politics and I can assure you that a hypothetical President Newsom would be the American Keir Starmer
Gavin Newsom is enough of a charmless dolt without the righteous hatred in his heart that he doesn't have much hope of surviving a primary. He'll eat shit in a debate with some mealy-mouthed bullshit that misreads the public hatred of the right and that's how we get someone better.

Complain all you want, but the iron rules of capitalism say that they're allowed to dominate massive sectors of the economy, strangle all independent inquiry, and fuck as many kids as they want.

You want to stop them and preserve capitalism? Get all your billionaire friends together and stop them.

the fact that wapo is closing every single part of the newspaper that attracts readers in order to focus on vertical short form video and opinion columns makes it very clear that the bezos takeover isn't about business. it's not even about propaganda. it's about showing off his power and clout

It is worse than this, I think. Bezos would be eminently capable of getting good value for the paper in a way that would leave his personal wealth intact. He is disfiguring it because he believes owning it, and doing *this,* best serves his interests.
Jeff Bezos destroyed the Washington Post because he couldn't admit that he didn't know how to run a newspaper, and also because he felt entitled to turn it into his personal plaything. Both are functions of his ego, his greed, his heedlessness, and his insecurity. What a dark day.

A shocking number of people are mourning the death of American journalism like it's been worthy of anything more than being dumped in a cesspit since before I was born.

Today was another bad day for the country, but they're all bad days for the country.

Still, it was a good enough day for me, so I'm not too upset.

It me, the Will Stancil fan.
no i didn’t, i said there’s no value in it being discussed on a global scale with literally zero context provided whatsoever you dingdong

this is all just will licking his wounds by having his incel army (including you) suck him off after he got told no for whatever reason
February 4, 2026 at 1:57 AM
Okay, cool.

Then why the hell was Stancil removed to start with?
Hopefully everyone in those chats is speaking with an awareness that they absolutely could be seen by feds.

This is certainly the security practice you should be using in massive chats with 100+ folks in.
They should ask the feds politely to stay out as well, I suppose?
February 4, 2026 at 1:21 AM
What if we got Will Stancil and all the Black Bloc people together inside of a wicker man?

I think that would work great.

Gotcha. Keep the camps open, keep the brutality going, and keep the marauders well fed on innocent blood.

Just, y'know, do it along the border where nobody cares to look at it.
Democrats want commonsense reform for ICE:

End the roving patrols and racial profiling.

Take accountability and abide by the same rules as local police.

Masks need to come off, body cameras need to stay on—no secret police in the United States of America.

or he could just respect the intent and expressed wishes of the people running those chats and doing the actual organizing work?
Then they should keep him out of those chats!

If they can't, then perhaps it's time to discuss whether or not the security theater they used to kick him out was actually appropriate.

Violence is a tool, not an aesthetic, you fucking children. A tool, and an exceptionally dangerous one at that. It should be treated with the gravity and respect it deserves.

This is the stuff that marks someone as a danger.

Not even just that he intends to sneak back into an organizing space where he’s been told that he’s unwanted; the need to publicly brag about it, and make sure everyone knows.

You cannot do collaborative work with someone who only centers himself.
February 3, 2026 at 11:59 PM
lol no, setting a dumpster alight is not valorous.

It's also not a barricade if nobody is defending it. It's just trash. Where were the police looking to disassemble it? Where were the people refusing to budge?

You can't claim mass action tactics without mass action. That just makes it vandalism.
And like, the problem of normie libs being instinctive snitches because they fear "provocateurs" when they see someone valorously setting a dumpster fire as a barricade is so universal. Like a fucking ton of normie moms in any movement with sufficient numbers are gonna have the same reaction.

Death to community organizers, tbh.
February 3, 2026 at 4:26 PM
I dunno. I feel like the trauma of hearing a bunch of whistles is significantly less than having your entire family carted off to be brutalized in concentration camps.

But then again, we all know this is about protecting the people who organizers care about, not those being threatened.
Ugh. The main anti-ICE group in Washington which has 44k followers on Facebook and has been going around to communities promoting classes is now promoting this anti-whistle nonsense for "harm reduction" reasons as well.

The Bolshevik Revolution stunned the SRs because how could the workers of Russia successfully organize and operate without they, the noble, brilliant SRs? They didn't tell the workers to rebel, so how could they have done so?

Which led to them screaming "foreign operation" faster than a tsarist.
No offense but if anything MN puts the lie to the idea that popular resistance takes a bunch of time and preparation by established activists who are allegedly quietly building goodwill. Mostly I see those people upset that it's succeeding and trying to gatekeep the normal people out of it
