I'm 40. By the time I'm 44, I will have had 24 years of my life with a President who was born between June and August 1946.
Millennials don’t have to post about “the gerontocracy” when someone’s just died a horrible death from cancer. The millennial passion for dunking on “the olds” can wait a day. Also, I guarantee that millennials will be the most insistent on holding onto their power when they reach that age.

Omg.

The BU College Republicans guy who called ICE on car wash workers bc they are “stealing jobs from Americans” was born and raised in … another country.
Zac Segal, Boston U runner and Young Republican alerted ICE to a car wash in Allston MA which had immigrants working - he said they were taking US jobs. ICE raided the car wash. All detained had legal status according to their lawyer.

Segal was born and schooled in London. 🙄
Student Republican who called ICE on car wash faces backlash
An attorney for those detained said, "Is he taking a college seat away from an American since he's from London?"

It’s pretty clear when I look at myself that I’m not optimized for farming or domination, nor do I aspire to be. It’s absurd that that is what men are “meant” to be working towards according to “real men”
Masculinism is obsolete.

I don't say this to be edgy or unkind, but to say masculinity since the dawn of agriculture at least has been defined in terms of domination over others, and to whatever extent the logic of domination has served our society it is now strictly a form of collective self-harm.
"my least woke opinion is---"

That's enough. We've had enough people indulging in the "thrill of a little conservatism", as a treat. Of considering reactionary thought to be a salacious and taboo in a world descending into reactionary mania.

Give me your MOST woke opinions. We're bringing it back.

“you can be disappeared”

this is actually happening to people irl in this country, getting a temporary suspension from Bluesky is not the same thing. grow up
BlueSky is a bad site used by good people. That describes most social media sites. But BlueSky is egregiously unethical. Any of you can be disappeared for baseless reasons. I've been on social media for 17 years and never been suspended. BlueSky is the first place to do so – over Johnny Cash lyrics.

No. No. It's absurd enough to think this for Americans, but fucking Brits!? Do you not know your own history!? Part of the country was in a civil war!

Honestly, teacher’s college should be abolished
It's because a bunch of liberal education departments that we trusted backed faulty research in order to sell reading curriculums that were based on nonsense. And you should make sure your local school district isn't still using it, especially if you live in a blue state where it was most popular.
how did i go so long not knowing we were literally teaching people to read wrong. i knew something wasn't right but jesus christ www.apmreports.org/episode/2019...
