It’s awful to see the ‘stop the puberty blocker trial’ petition gain 100k signatures so quickly. It’s absurd that those who demanded a puberty blocker ban because of a lack of evidence for their safety are now demanding a ban on the research they claimed to want.

The complaint is difficult reading, but if you need a condensed timeline of events in Minneapolis... I think I missed this incident entirely:

If you have “sincere concerns” about trans athletes in sports, all it means is that you have given yourself a rationale for your bigotry that you sincerely believe exonerates you for aligning to a far-right tactic for marginalization and exclusion.

This was last night. Just lawless actions.
ICE assaulted the President of the Minneapolis City Council just now and pointed a Taser* at him, painting him with a green laser dot. Then did the same to another man on the street.

ICE just indiscriminately stopped a citizen at a bus stop in front of the co-op. If this is how they treat the President of the Minneapolis City Council who is legally observing, just think of what they’re doing to everyone else in our City.

A lot of people who are posting that it’s too dangerous to resist are personally paralyzed by fear.

It’s okay to be afraid! An occupation is scary! But don’t try to cope with your own paralysis by discouraging the brave people to be less brave. Try to lead with gratitude instead.

The right-wingers at SCOTUS today argue that merely allowing a trans girl to compete in sports is a great harm because we must "protect women."

But a woman exercising her First Amendment rights is a smug ....

These people don't respect women 1/10th as much as any trans woman I know does.

There are lots of reasons to compare what is happening now to Nazi Germany and there are also lots of reasons to compare what is happening now to the post-1850 Fugitive Slave Act U.S. and it's *weird* how people respond with interest to the former but total confusion to the latter

This is honestly the point they make it impossible to comply so they always have a reason to do what they want
It's impossible to comply with these goons, they tell her to go, she starts to go....and then the guy runs up and smashes the window and they all surround her and drag her out. Criminals doing carjackings are more organized than this
Today at 34 & Park in Minneapolis, a woman tried to drive down the street where a protest had broken out in front of a home ICE was raiding, saying she had a doctor apt to get to. ICE agents busted out her windows, cut off her seatbelt, and pulled her out before arresting her.

I’m seeing lots of people on here misunderstand the purpose of ICE watch.

It’s de-escalation. And it’s grounded in the social science of violence. 🧵

This is the mission, this is the work, this is what's left to us.

Instead of building a finer world, together, we work and struggle in the mud to survive this one, and to protect and uplift as many people as we can, for as long as we can, before eventually it is our turn to become mud, too.
If I can meaningfully obstruct fascism I will, if I can protect other people from fascism I will, and if all I can do is refuse to pretend I'll just do that, then.

Let me clear something up.

I spent almost every waking hour from 2021 - 2024 thinking of how to persuade and recruit people to agitate against rising fascism.

And on November 6th, 2025, I understood my role had changed.

Prevention was no longer possible. Now we fight like hell to survive.

Part of the reason transphobia is so politically convenient is it's "trying to solve" a problem that doesn't exist, so they can keep "trying to solve it".

"Banning trans women from toilets didn't make women remotely safer in public? Well, maybe we need to ban trans women from public in general."
The grim reality of not fixing the systemic issues artificially limiting women’s sports while banning trans people and then being surprised that being transphobic didn’t solve anything because it wasn’t a real issue in the first place.

I have said this a lot of times, and I'll say it a lot more times - for sports leaders, the main purpose behind banning trans women from sports is to collect praise from media and other people uninterested in women's sports without spending any money or resolving any real problems in women's sports
But they banned trans women from rugby, didn't that fix everything?

A good reminder that despite this administration's actions, vaccinations, and especially childhood vaccinations, remain overwhelmingly popular in the United States. Opposing vaccination is an extreme, unhinged, minority opinion.
Fox: The Florida Surgeon General wants to end vaccine mandates for public schools. Good idea or bad idea?

Doctor: Bad idea. Measles is a wildly contagious virus and there is an incredibly effective vaccine. Nobody would say 'Can I bring a knife to school?' You can't bring measles to school either
