i'm a broken record on this: voters may not be able to express *why* you seem weak, but the accumulation of times you don’t punch back on behalf of your allies looks bad even to people 𝘸𝘩𝘰 𝘥𝘰 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦 those allies. it's "this is how they treat their friends? guess they wouldn't care about me either"

This says it all for me. I've been thinking about the scene in Trainspotting where someone says "I don't hate the English. They're just wankers. We on the other hand got colonized by wankers." We have an upper class that got colonized by wankers.

For 26 but especially 2028 it's time for Democrats to make clear that the current Supreme Court will have to be reformed (expanded in number, reformed in structure) to allow popular govt to continue in the United States. Not so much a litmus test as precondition for any other promise to be credible.

It is basically impossible to get people to believe that things like impoundment and extraordinary rendition and illegal trade wars are a crisis if nobody in a position of authority acts like they are.

RFK Jr. is not wrong. We are failing to keep our communities healthy. This message resonates with many.
But I have serious concerns about his ability and expertise to lead such a sweeping overhaul of the HHS workforce. We need accountability, not just rhetoric.
