GQP has introduced S.4912 that will allow billionaires to fleece the US. Please call your senators and congress-people and tell them to oppose the BITCOIN Act!!! They want to create a repository that WE will *buy* Crypto Bitcoins that these billionaires and cartels can't sell!
Bitcoin are somewhat analogous to tulips at the height of the Dutch Tulip Mania - they're speculative assets given value by the madness of crowds. S.4912 would require the USG to trade dollars for bitcoin that billionaire techbros own (b/c they, or their pals, created bitcoin, out of thin air)...

Here’s a really tense ICE situation in front of my home. One car looped a block 25 times until two reinforcement cars showed up and led me home. Was pretty scary because I was solo - BUT I knew I had backup from thousands of courageous neighbors and observers. Strength in numbers.

I wonder how U.S. markets would respond if Europe divested a mere 5% of the U.S. Treasury bonds it holds. A bit of "gentle persuasion", if you will, or a warning shot across the bow.

Greenland is hitting European stocks. (U.S. markets are closed for MLK Day.) Seems like a pretty obvious lesson here if the Europeans want to learn it: They could very quickly escalate the market crisis by threatening U.S. tech giants, and force Trump to make a fast decision.

How long before they go from pepper spraying people to shooting out their knees, or worse.
It's cool that these guys just use pepper spray casually now, against people who are wholly within their rights, without a moment's hesitation. Several shots of them using it as they climb into their cars and drive away, not even a pretense of urgency or need. Just a parting "fuck you" to them.
This is what happened in our neighborhood yesterday. ICE snatched a human being off of our streets, roughed them up badly, and then pepper sprayed legal observers as they documented it all. This is a daily occurrence happening all throughout Minnesota right now.
