Looks like the democratic establishment is spending a bunch of dark money to stop progressive candidates like @katmabu.bsky.social www.nbcnews.com/politics/202...
Secret money roils Democratic primaries
New super PACs are pouring money into open Democratic House primaries in Chicago. It's unclear who's funding them — and opposing campaigns are furious.

A baby breeding cult led by a billionaire who spent time on pedophile island should be treated like a rogue state acquiring nukes.
lets just say that if i was editor in chief of the left wing nypost/fox news that i would not let a day go by without some mention of the elon musk baby breeding cult

Movements for political change usually take place with MUCH less popular support.

In before times, a POTUS would shift course.

In this one, we have to keep the pressure on to try to push @schumer.senate.gov et al to use overwhelming popular sentiment as a fulcrum in their DHS funding negotiations.
These numbers are simply incredible. It's very clear that most ordinary people have figured out that ICE is not remotely functioning as a law enforcement agency any longer and that none of this is about enforcing the law in any recognizable sense.

i like to post this page from an issue of batman from a few years ago because it puts perspective on the fight for justice, from a fictional pov. robin and alfred are telling batman he's winning cause murders are down. batman says this is failure, because his goal is ZERO.

Voting for Harris would have let us avoid being here and while yes I understand that Dems absolutely need to do more to build and sustain enthusiasm I also hope people also understand that we are no longer playing at the low-stakes table here
The difference between anarchism and liberalism on this front is that anarchism has never been successful at anything. Anarchists have barely mastered "running an off-putting bookstore"

liberal = mainstream of the dem party (obama, hrc, biden)
leftist = the very left of the spectrum (bernie and further to the left, often way further)

whenever i get down -- and you have a right to occasionally get down -- i think about the world black americans faced in 1958. if youre a black kid around then the idea that black people could just go vote in the south sounded like fantasy.

you have to keep hope. keep your eye on the prize.
people like this work hand in glove with the Steve Bannons of the world to disseminate fear and keep people from the polls, you gotta stamp them out like bugs

except in this instance there really are two sides looking past each other. now are they equal? no. i think the leftists have a stronger argument morally.

"ah so you think genocide is ok"
no, i think it was wrong for biden to give israel a green light.

"ah so you think its ok to tear down the democratic party"
no, i think the party deserves constructive criticism and it should be able to handle it.

whoa, if true.

this might be the most rorschach test of a post ive ever done. both groups i talk about cant seem to see the other half of the post.
Leftists have this thing that purity outweighs practicality and that’s dumb. But liberals have this thing that we can’t demand better and just have to accept the suck. That’s stupid too.

Not enough. Every single ICE and CBP agent should be out of Minnesota. The terror campaign must stop.

ICE must be abolished.

continue to think that if instead of "raw milk" we called it "doodoo milk" people would understand the risk proposition
This is bonkers. MAHA 'farmers' with ecoli tainted raw milk admit they really don't know how to make the stuff after all.

again we do not really do a good job of explaining how wealthy people like Jeff Bezos are

his net worth is $253.2 billion.
so he could take one million dollars, and just light it on fire
and then do it again tomorrow
and again the day after that
and then do it every day for 693 years and 8 months
