This is why the lack of a coordinated response by the DFL and Governor Walz toward fraud - until this month - was so galling.
Minnesota Republicans and Donald Trump are right now pretending to care about fraud. Fraud is bad. The shit in MN was terrible. But … let’s me clear that they don’t actually care.
GOP operatives Jacob Wohl and Jack Burkman, convicted election fraudsters, were paid $960,000 in the second quarter to secure a pardon for a former nursing-home operator who defrauded the government of $38 million. Trump pardoned the man, Joseph Schwartz, last month.

TL;DR AI shills don’t know or care why people connect with art. Their experience of art is as little posts scrolling by with numbers affixed to them, and they think that’s all there is. Sad, clueless dilettantes at life.
There’s lot to be said about how little AI shills know about art, but not enough is said about how little they think of fandom, of community, of all the people who bring the art to each other. That’s why it’s never gonna happen like they want. They’ll never have the adulation they crave.

Yeah if you make books or paintings or music or plays or whatever, the industries around them still want to show *you* off. They’ll want to tour you so people can ask you about how you went about making that thing you made. Provides reasons and space for people to talk about your work and you.
