When Republicans passed their Big Beautiful Bill they handed Trump a $175 billion slush fund to use ICE and CBP as his national police force. My bill, the Make Housing Affordable and Defend Democracy Act, takes these funds from Trump and puts them toward solving the housing affordability crisis.
