Yup. Time to put the rollers under everyone who isn’t up to the job.

I kind of appreciate the complete lack of pride whoever placed the T and the P took in their work. That's some next level crap kerning.

Hoping it's really easy to pry all this crap off the colonnade once someone who doesn't have a mafia design moves in.
He has completely vandalized the White House with gaudy, crumpled Ferrero Rocher wrappers.

Reposting this, because we all need to be reminded that every vote counts, every vote HAS to count and that sometimes elections come down to the narrowest of margins.

Apparently in Fitchburg, MA. CBP/ICE goons taking a child away from a couple when the man holding the child is apparently either being tazed or having a seizure. Unbelievable cruelty either way.
DON’T LOOK AWAY. This is domestic terror.

Just thinking that the idea that "there shouldn't be billionaires at all" just got underlined by Musk getting approval for a trillion dollar compensation package. There shouldn't be billionaires, but there DEFINITELY shouldn't be trillionaires and it definitely shouldn't be Musk.
This is one of many reasons I think Pritzker should be POTUS: the 1st item on the agenda of the next American President HAS to be wrangling out-of-control fascist billionaires into submission before the rule of law. History suggests that only one of their own can do it; otherwise, bloody revolution.

Frequently, in fact. The sidewalks in my neighborhood were built by WPA and still have WPA medallions embedded (this pic is not mine, but they look like this -- 1938 for the streets near me)

The YouTube algorithm just served me up Janelle Monae's Letterman performance of Tightrope and when Tightrope shows up in our playlist, we watch it.

Among everything else, I think Republicans have wildly underestimated how much otherwise apolitical people hate the idea of a dozen masked, camo-wearing, anonymous men converging on a quiet neighborhood and gang-tackling a landscaper, painter or day care teacher.
November 6, 2025 at 3:12 PM
All of this is terrible, but I can't imagine the kind of heartlessness that would go along with "OK, we're going to storm through a day care center and grab a teacher in front of the children."

I realize the cruelty is the point, but damn.

With over 1,000 square feet of space, we welcome our meerkat family of five to a dynamic, all-new home! They can now spend time in three different areas: a fun, outdoor yard and two furnished, temperature-controlled dayrooms.

Really minor point, but I watched Spanberger's speech, which appeared to come in before Earle-Sears had conceded or called her and I really liked the way Spanberger handled it. There's usually a moment where the candidate says "I just talked with [losing candidate] and..." and the crowd boos...

Just seeing the VA governor race go from Youngkin winning in 2021 by just under 2% to Spanberger winning by almost 15% and really hoping that a bunch of Republicans in R+17 districts who thought their R+12 districts were safe realized what that means for them if this environment holds for a year.

Hoping that Virginia, which was a red state within recent memory, so thoroughly repudiates Trump and Spanberger wins by a margin that every GOP political operative feels in the pit of their stomach and that Zohran wins by enough to permanently send Cuomo to the glue factory.
