Yeah...nothing gets people in the mood for a little shopping like a bunch of guys standing around with automatic weapons for no reason.

Excellent, and hopefully we finally cast off gerrymandering and put laws in place to make state maps look like that. Also, D1 is obviously blue, but wondering which of the others are potentially competitive.

There’s a huge need to be able to tie specific actions to specific people. There is a court order in the Northern District of Illinois to require CBP to wear unique identifiers and they’re largely ignoring it.

Never saw Trump as an opera guy, although the time he cut a town hall early and just bobbed around to music did include Con Te Partiro.

I don't know who is actually from that district and might be looking to move up, but nothing would warm my soul more than to see Brad Lander climb up to the top rope and hand Cuomo his ass again.

Each store's pricing is going to be a little different, but here's the results of someone calculating the cost of the identical basket from 2024 and it wound up 20% higher.

There's a factory in Florida where they stamp them out between production runs of "Mar-A-Lago trophy wife" and "stepdad-aged Young Republican."

If I had a nickel for every time DHS acted in good faith...
I wouldn't even have a nickel.

Glad to see this and also that, in the spirit of healing, that he didn't try to make CBP pay him $5 for the footlong he gifted them.

Florida alone has 9 GOP districts at R+8 or less and that includes scandal-plagued restraining order magnet Cory Mills.

Obviously, it comes down to individual candidates and a lot of the districts are going to be Gerrymandered before 2026, but man, there are a lot of districts drawn at R+5 to R+8 that have the potential to get swamped.

Someone on Reddit actually priced out the 2024 basket if you bought it now and came up with a cost of $66.50 -- a 20% INCREASE, which is even higher than I would have thought it would be.

Probably yes. Not sure of his exact circumstances, but people who marry a US citizen after letting a visa expire can fix their status and ICE has been mercilessly going after people doing that. Just pure, intentional cruelty (and low-hanging fruit for agents looking to boost their numbers.)

Honestly, a local sub restaurant would DEFINITELY have named his order after him. "Give me a Duke Ellington with extra pickles, a Pharell on wheat and a Sean Dunn, hold the onions"

I know that "drunk guy throws something that doesn't cause physical harm at a federal agent" doesn't happen a lot, but I'm wondering if they normally would have charged it as some kind of disorderly conduct or charged it as assault and plea-bargained it down to a fine or something.
