"We own it, we're ending it, and we don't want to talk to anyone who wants to buy it. Don't call us; we won't answer you."

That appears to be the current status of the Post-Gazette in Pittsburgh. Via @dankennedy.net
Efforts to keep Pittsburgh Post-Gazette operating appear to stall
In less than three months, the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette is scheduled to close up shop and go out of business.

Raskin: "I want the whole country to look at this. This is the attorney general of the US whose job is law enforcement. We've never had a witness who has misunderstood our rules and been unable to conform his or her conduct to our rules before. Excuse me."
Likely-historic photo by NBC News of all the Epstein victims asked to raise their hands if they've not yet been asked to meet with the DOJ as Bondi testifies in foreground
Impeach, arrest, and prosecute them all. Anything less is being complicit.

Two things: (1) Looks like the uber-rich are well aware of critical-theory ideas like hegemony and from The Frankfurt School; (2) I didn't include the actual email to Epstein cause besides being classist it's incredibly racist, too.
Sometimes I remember Reagan removing Jimmy Carter’s solar panels and I think we’ve been enduring this shit for way too many years.
Very, very bad
The Armenian Genocide is a historical fact. Vice President Vance can delete his post, but he can't erase history. His decision to ignore the facts is beyond disrespectful to the Armenian community and the millions killed in the Armenian Genocide.
Vance Acknowledges Armenian Genocide, Then Deletes Post, Igniting Outrage
By deleting the social-media post, Vice President JD Vance upset Armenians after a historic visit.

US journalism is demonstratively weaker now than even a year ago: public media federal funding rescinded; Pittsburgh Post-Gazette closing; billionaire-owner eroding news independence (WaPo, LA Times, CBS), & now massive WaPo layoffs. Those in power know that our watchdogs are less watchful.
Warner: "There is a very real threat without reforms at ICE that you could have ICE patrols around polling stations. And people say, 'Why would that matter if they're all American citizens?' We've seen ICE discriminate against Latinos ... you don't need to do a lot to discourage people from voting"
It's Superbowl Sunday, the day when interests coalesce around a singular purpose
Ossoff: "You're seeing what I'm seeing, right? The president posting about the Obamas like a Klansman."
He’s a criminal who can’t resist returning to the scene of the crime.
Posting something that blatantly racist, or allowing a staffer access to the president’s account with no indication it’s not him posting something that blatantly racist are both impeachable offenses.

The fact Republicans refuse to impeach him makes them complicit in all his crimes.
NEW: A federal judge in Oregon issued a sweeping rebuke of the Justice Department’s nationwide push to seize state voter rolls, ruling that the department can no longer be presumed to be acting in good faith and warning that its conduct threatens voters and states’ rights.
Federal judge rules DOJ can ‘no longer’ be trusted in voter roll crusade
The judge pointed to a letter from Bondi to Minnesota that tied federal immigration enforcement to demands for voter data as the smoking gun.

The conservatives used to shut down the government over a few hundred million dollars. Seriously.

Yet Trump blows billions and sues the govt for billions and gets a “free” jet from Qatar that the govt will spend a billion on then let him take it with him… and not a peep.
