Cmon now guys. If any Dem says anything besides shut down until this is all gone then there's no need for federal government at all. These are concentration camps. If you're too scared to say so then you're part of the problem.
In the last month ICE has bought warehouses in:

- Hagerstown, MD: $102 million
- Surprise, AZ: $70 million
- Hamburg, PA: $87 million
- Tremont, PA: $120 million
- San Antonio, TX: $82 million
- El Paso, TX: $123 million
- Social Circle, GA: price unknown

This is unprecedented.

Absolutely abhorrent. This is unconscionable.
In an alarming development, it appears the UK Government covered up a massive spike in trans youth suicides after restrictions.

Then covered it up again when caught.

Now, after fighting for years, the data is public: trans suicide increased 5x in the country.

Trans Youth Suicides Skyrocketed In UK After Care Drawdown; Government Covers It Up
A Freedom of Information request to the National Child Mortality Database reveals that 22 trans children under 18 died by suicide in England in 2021-22 alone.

Hey! I've got a piece up on @gamesradarplus.bsky.social about @square-enix-games.com's Dragon Quest VII Reimagined and how Clair Obscur didn't save turn-based RPGs because they didn't need saving in the first place.
In Clair Obscur's wake, Dragon Quest 7 finally has its chance to shine
Opinion | Once the black sheep of the Dragon Quest series, DQ7 is back to prove JRPGs never needed saving in the first place

this was way more prevalent when i was still on tiktok but it feels like people are getting really weird about alcohol, coffee, anything that might make you happy--even in innocuous amounts! feels like we're re-engineering puritanism as a method of maintaining control (over ourselves, each other)
starting to feel like there's a direct relationship between the growing obsession with lifestyle hygeine (no drinking, no caffeine, no sex, obsessive working out and looksmaxxing) and the inability to meaningful moral stands on issues of actual import
Cafes across the U.S. are embracing the low- and no-caffeine lifestyle, with options that are a far cry from dusty tea bags and rewarmed decaf. nyti.ms/3XKlqoj

I will also point out that as far back as the early 1990s, a lot of straight edgers became neo Nazis. The pure living to white supremacy pipeline is old.

"The sun emits the most visible light" is also a reminder of the opposite; the light we evolved to see is the light most emitted by the sun, and that's what happened to determine colors to us.

I'm convinced AI is our generation's radium - a discovery with genuinely useful applications in specific, controlled circumstances that we stupidly put in everything from kid's toys to toothpaste until we realised the harm far too late where future generations will ask if we were out of our minds.

Pats brought Thayer Munford on the field for one snap in the first quarter as a sixth offensive lineman, picked up 21 yards, and then never used a sixth lineman again the rest of the game.
The NE offensive game plan was puzzling. 79.1% of snaps in 11 personnel. No game over 70% in regular season. Got dime 53% of the time but still couldn't run.

Zero snaps in empty to try to spread the Seahawks out. Season-low in 21 personnel, 1.5%. One snap in Jumbo.

Just let Seattle play its game.

The funniest part of Casey (an actual neo-Nazi btw) having a Substack bestseller badge is remembering how the walking skinsuit Jesse Singal spent roughly a thousand words of his rambling pseudo-rebuttal to my 2023 Atlantic piece insisting that couldn’t happen.
Both of these guys have bestselling Substacks by the way
