Hi, it’s me, your neighborhood robotics business guy, to inform you that if robots were actually ready to automate a process at scale, they would likely already be deployed
Fascinating interview with Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick on @cnbc.com this morning: He said that US manufacturers can use robots to offset the low wages paid in other countries, enabling the return of more production to the US, and Americans can get jobs building and maintaining the robots.
It is impossible to Girlboss harder than this.

It cannot be topped, it can only be equaled.

the comments on this that are scolding people for seeing liam in that little boy from the halftime show are absurd. you aren’t morally superior because you are cynical and don’t understand symbols
Super Bowl viewers Sunday speculated that 5-year-old Liam Conejo Ramos appeared in the halftime show. In fact, he has been in hiding with his family.

“He can’t sleep well at night. He wakes up three or four times a night screaming, ‘Daddy, Daddy,’” Liam's father Adrian Conejo Arias, said.
‘He’s not the same’: Father of Liam Conejo Ramos says 5-year-old continues to suffer
Some people thought they say the 5-year-old during the Super Bowl halftime show. But Liam is still in hiding with his family, after he and his father were detained and then released from a Texas deten...

Today I quoted one of my posts from a month ago and then watched as the original post, not the new one, did numbers.

Never seen that before.

everything about getting through the next years, for those of us that do, it about forcing the people in power to reckon with it. it is a moral duty that goes far beyond any performative condemnation of this country, and it's going to be hard

Tired: Bad Bunny draws influences from every corner and every genre of Latin American music
Wired: Weird Al walked so Bad Bunny could run
It was really funny today looking up what it was about Bad Bunny when he was getting started that made him stand out and it was basically “he was funny and his beats were sick”
Bad Bunny being a “hey I don’t really care, I’ll fuck whoever, maybe I’ll fuck guys one day idk” guy means we’re bringing back dude-woke. Brocialism rides again.

“Remember when you had a whole cinematic universe ahead of you but it was still early enough that you only needed to see one or two movies to be caught up” oh god
you guys need to know that we are maybe one or two years away from the late 2000s early 2010s becoming the nostalgia bait era

you're gonna see retvrn-posting about the early MCU movies sooner than you think

Very small risk — not zero, but small — that the GOP gets blown out in the House and doesn’t bother to make noise about it, but Dems take the Senate by cruising in NC and then winning 5-6 other seats by <5 points and folks in the party attempt to prevent all of the close races from being seated
I *do* think we should actually be gearing up for the other side of this.

Imagine a Senate that Democrats win 51 seats, with a couple of those seats in red states.

There's going to be *immense* pressure for a red legislature to give cover to trying to find a way to overturn a senate election

The main reason I don’t like robotics as the solution for in-home healthcare for aging populations is that there are dozens of smaller and cheaper interventions you can make to a home that add up to a big QoL gain.

But I can’t pretend “actually we need immigration” isn’t also on my mind.
I'm increasingly convinced that many countries will only get serious about rebalancing their economies and immigration policies when social services collapse and seniors without families go back to starving to death like in the bad old days.

Chess can be simmed and chess has 3 outcomes. You can't sim real life and outcomes are infinite. Elon doesn't play a middle game AND is wrong about the endgame because the sim is faulty.
