Based on offensive success rate, that was the Eagles' worst regular-season performance of the Sirianni/Hurts era. A 6th percentile offensive performance.
The only game that was worse was the playoff loss to the Bucs after the 2023 season.

One of the teams playing in this very game just won the Super Bowl and has been one of the three most analytics-friendly organizations in the league for about two decades!
I don’t get how you can still be an NFL announcer and openly skeptical of “analytics.” Can’t you see all the best teams in the NFL using these strategies successfully and winning games because of them

Eagles have been throwing some very light boxes out there on early downs so far, so understand why the Packers are leaning into the run. They're just averaging 3.7 yards per carry on designed runs so far, which isn't good enough.

Here are the top-100 picks for Schoen from the 2022, 2023, and 2024 drafts. How many of those guys are likely to sign meaningful second contracts with the Giants? How many times has the next player taken at the same position been a better pro? Not always, but very mixed results.

What does this mean for Joe Schoen, who hasn't had a great success rate at the top of the draft and let Saquon Barkley and Xavier McKinney leave in free agency last year? Would argue he's equally or even more culpable for the disappointing seasons since the playoff win.

Brian Daboll has his strengths, but some of the game management stuff in recent weeks (including the field goal from the goal line last week) has been rough, and there's been seemingly no ability to protect Jaxson Dart from the scheme or himself.

Is the top of the AFC shifting? Cases for the Colts, Broncos, Patriots and Chargers atop the conference
We thought the Bills, Chiefs and Ravens would dominate the AFC again this season. But four teams have risen from the pack to challenge -- and possibly pass -- them.

Brutal day for the Cardinals for a lot of reasons, but they lost 2024 first-rounder Darius Robinson to a groin injury earlier in the game, and now 2025 first-rounder Walter Nolen just had to be helped off.

this is the play in which sheldon rankins conjured a scorigami out of absolutely nothing. 30-29 had happened plenty of times and so had 37-29. scorigami only happened because the refs didn't make them stick around for the extra point

The Giants kicked a field goal from the 1-yard line and declined a penalty that would have allowed them to move the ball to the half-yard line
And they’re gonna lose by 4

Tough to really gauge, but entering in the timings, scores, odds, etc, pro-football-reference.com has:
- first-and-goal from the 1: 60.7% win expectancy
- second-and-goal from the 1: 56.6% win expectancy
- Bucs having first-and-10 from the 35 after a first-down Pats TD: 56.7% Pats win expectancy
- first-and-goal from the 1: 60.7% win expectancy
- second-and-goal from the 1: 56.6% win expectancy
- Bucs having first-and-10 from the 35 after a first-down Pats TD: 56.7% Pats win expectancy
Does anyone have a model that tracks that kind of thing? Because at first that seemed like kind of a sharp move to me.

Very nervous that the Patriots deliberately not trying to score on first down will be blamed on analytics.
