I think Europe needs to make it clear that any attempts by the US to seize Greenland (by force or other means) would result in immediate sanctions against Trump and US officials (barring them from entering or doing business in Europe) and suspension of all visa-free travel agreements for Americans.
I am very much not an expert, but this seems good?

Also it seems like the best message NATO leaders could send to deter Trump is “If you do this, we will kill you, specifically.” He doesn’t care about anything else. (Although I’m also not sure he fully believes he can die.)
European allies working on plan should US move on Greenland
Allies including France and Germany are working closely on a plan on how to respond should the United States act on its threat to take over Greenland, as Europe seeks to address U.S. President Donald ...

Saying "the word" will obviously not tank Trump. Perhaps there was a moment it would have, but that's long past.

But you must ask him about the video. And continue pressing him until he loses his temper. It might not change anything now, but it'll be a quote we want for history's sake.

A continuation of the story?

BG3 was tied up with a fucking bow.

Like, depending on player choices, *some* characters could move on to further adventures, but totally independent from their BG3 narrative.

And, at that point, it's just an original Forgotten Realms story with cameos. So make that.

Baldur’s Gate 3 is set for its own TV series on HBO!

It will be a continuation of the story from the Baldur's Gate 3 game and will be helmed by The Last of Us co-creator Craig Mazin. https://bit.ly/4r2FWxm

Personally, my favorite way to make raw milk safe is to heat it to 161°F for at least 15 seconds and then rapidly cool it to 39°F.

In fact, I have found outside vendors who are willing to milk the cows, perform this heating/cooling process, bottle it, and deliver it to stores near me.

The only response here is a motion to enjoin the whole operation

If the government's position is "I'm sorry your honor but we don't be the capacity to both respect constitutional rights and conduct the operation as it is currently being conducted" the answer is "then you must stop the operation"

If you're a citizen and ICE detains you for Reasons until the polls close, you've been disenfranchised.

If ICE presence at your polling place causes delays forcing you to leave without voting because you have other obligations, you've been disenfranchised.
Q: Bannon recently said 'we're gonna have ICE surround the polls come November.' Is that something the president is considering?

LEAVITT: I can't guarantee an ICE agent won't be around a polling location, but what I can tell you is I haven't heard the president discuss any formal plans

1. What I'm about to post is going to sound egotistical - because it is - but it has a point, so please go with it for moment:

I've learned over time that, at least in my own communities, I can no longer rely on how people approach and treat me as an indicator of their own personality.

On the one hand, I think this is true and, by itself, would be a decent outcome.

But on the other, it looks like another case of Congressional Dems fighting smart legislative fights* at the expense of smart political fights.

Which I strongly believe is the wrong choice in this moment.
Forcing DHS to live off BBB funding indefinitely is an acceptable outcome if Republicans won’t codify existing law to rein in the barbarity

Context: this speech is from SIR THOMAS MORE, a history written, as near as scholars can tell, in the early 1600s by 6 or 7 people including Dekker, Heywood, Chettle, Shakespeare, and Munday.

It was never performed, because Jacobean England was a police state and it was banned by the censor.

I understand reporters' reluctance to "be the news," but if you have a legitimate question that will cause the President to abruptly end the interview and leave in a huff, *that is incredibly newsworthy and you must ask that question*.
NBC News's Tom Llamas did an hour-long interview with Trump filled with softballs & filled with Trump lies that he didn't challenge.

Worst of all, he did not ask 1 single question to Trump about the Epstein files & the 38,000 references to Trump.

Our mainstream media is broken. Subscribe to Zeteo.

Not that the Pope is beyond criticism, but it's kind of weird coming from Speaker Mike Johnson, a Protestant who explicitly does not recognize the spiritual authority of the Pope, and JD Vance, who as an adult Catholic convert explicitly chose to recognize the spiritual authority of the Pope.

I sometimes wonder if--for these monsters--the time they had at their peak was worth the downfall.

But then I remember how stunted they are. They never imagine a trade-off or a "fair" price to pay. They only enjoy getting away with it, in the moment.

I hope the suffering is truly exquisite.

You really don't have to defend unrepentant assholes.

But what I truly can't understand is people who will use their personal credibility and story of, "I have at times been an asshole, but I recognize it, and work hard to be better," to excuse people who have zero interest in making amends.
