We owe it to our children to mitigate airborne infections and to vaccinate them effectively.
Western countries abandoning kids due to lower PERCEIVED risk and a drive for normalcy is wholly irresponsible.

Long COVID is Now the Number One Chronic Illness in Children
Repeatedly mass infecting kids with COVID is not a public health strategy. It's a fast pass to declining population health

Let’s talk a little bit about what you can do to avoid this wave. It’s looking like a huge one, and even ignoring the risk of death or permanent disability from long covid, do you really want to lose two or three sunny weeks to feeling like crap?

Here’s some common sense risk reduction ideas:

I spoke to @wired.com on this: “These are not the first murders that have been abetted by the data broker industry. But most of the previous targets were relatively unknown victims of stalking and abuse … Lawmakers need to act before they have more blood on their hands” www.wired.com/story/minnes...

Minnesota Senator @tinasmithmn (D) pulled Utah’s @senmikelee out of a Republican meeting and confronted him for his ugly tweets blaming Democrats for the shootings of Dems in Minnesota — by a man friends say was a staunch conservative.

The accused assassin allegedly used data brokers to track down the Democratic lawmakers he murdered. Congress doesn't need any more proof that selling data to anyone with a credit card is deadly. Every American's safety is at risk until Congress cracks down on data brokers.
The man accused of shooting two Minnesota Dems allegedly found their addresses online. That has prompted some lawmakers to call for tighter oversight on how personal info is shared online.

This is also a great reminder that psychiatric disabilities are actually physical disabilities.

They are the result of physiological processes in your body & viruses that mess up your nervous system will absolutely affect your mental health without the middleman of trauma

Seeing a lot of confusion in the comments about why he’s only charged with 2nd degree murder. To clarify, in MN, prosecutors can charge up to 2nd degree right away, then have to ask for grand jury approval to charge 1st degree. That is a separate step that will definitely happen.

Plus someone’s trail cam spotted him.
Local coverage keeps emphasizing that Boelter was hiding in a cornfield but the corn is still pretty low this time of year in Minnesota so that made him easier to spot.

the mayor sure is keeping a low profile these days. Maybe he’ll wait until enough people get upset and then scold everyone for getting upset.
It’s been 28 hours since the assassin was photographed in Minneapolis. It’s been 24 hours since a Bearcat punched into a N Mpls house connected to this man.

Nothing from the mayor in 22 hours. Nothing from the Chief, or Public Safety Commissioner.

WHERE IS OUR CITY LEADERSHIP?
