I watched a news segment of J6ers “retracing their steps” and placing flowers “in honor of” Ashli Babbit at the Capitol. Reminded of how the Nazis mythologized the Beer Hall Putsch and turned the 16 people who died into martyrs who were ritually honored on the attempted coup’s anniversary each year

If "division" means the parties can't agree on something everyone in the world saw, then "division" is a meaningless world. People who take pride in their ability to communicate, especially journalists and pundits, should stop using it, and just say one party is lying.
