A study with data from ~14 million children shows that COVID19 infection is significantly more harmful to kids’ hearts than the vaccine.

Marty Makary falsely alleged that “children died” because from COVID19 vaccine. Whomever told him that failed to account for SARS-CoV-2 infections.

An awful lot of the discourse about AI in medicine amounts to "[valid criticism] but they're working that out."

The people who say they're working that out are selling you something. If a pharmaceutical company told you survival is worse "but we're working it out," would you advocate for that drug?

A new study shows that COVID19 during pregnancy was associated with a significant increase in the odds of neurodevelopmental conditions in offspring.

This supports literature suggesting that infections during pregnancy can increase the odds of ASD in offspring.

It also supports vaccination.

These doctors want to break the cycle of shame and blame in medicine

The culture of shaming & blaming harms both patients & healthcare workers. I’m pleased to see some evidence-based practice changes in action & would love to see this integrated into medical curricula routinely
These doctors want to break the cycle of shame and blame in medicine
Shaming is common in medical school and unfortunately, sometimes in the doctor's office. Some doctors are trying to teach medical students awareness of the problem so they don't perpetuate the cycle.
